Happy Monday, y’all! In case you missed last week’s blog post… we started our “home tour” series, and first up, was our favorite retreat… our sunroom (check it out here)! Today, we’re sharing our upstairs “guest suite,” and if you’ve been following since 2016, then you may recall that this room was part of our “one room challenge” series. We love how cozy this space is for our favorite guests and lately, we’ve been finding ourselves working from home at the tulip table, upholstered bamboo chairs, and sofa! The walls are painted in Farrow & Ball “Pink Ground”, and we love how it provides a warm base against the graphic striped rug and the texture of the bamboo shades. Atop our midcentury dresser, we stacked our favorite inspirational coffee table books and framed a vintage wallpaper sample that we found years ago at a flea market (art is truly the best way to add personality and charm to a space). Lucky for you, so many of the pieces we used are still available to purchase like this rattan bed, this striped rug, these vintage blanc de chine lamps, this minimal white side table, these antiqued brass library lights, this x-bench, and this handmade coverlet. One of our favorite parts of the space? The refreshed bathroom! Some of our favorite details in this relaxing space include the bold painting by our dear friend, Kayce Hughes, our marble top vanity, this scallop edge mirror, the rectangular tub, and a chinoiserie garden stool. Be sure to take a peek above if you’d like to get more of the look yourself! Happy shopping, y’all!
