Happy Friday, y’all! We’re feeling inspired and refreshed after a quick getaway to Harbour Island! It’s one of our absolute favorite places to visit and we always get tons of questions about where to stay and what to do, so today as promised we’re sharing some of our favorite spots! This most recent trip to Harbour Island was a celebration of the launch of Red Clay’s new products (an amazing woman-owned company started by our friend Molly!), as well as a planning session for our upcoming P+P Creative Club Charleston event, which is happening on July 16-18! Charleston event tickets will go on sale on June 2, but Creative Club members will get access a day early on June 1…if you’re not a member yet, you can sign up here for the free Friends membership or for the Bestie membership that includes our monthly box of goodies!

If you’re planning a trip to Harbour Island, you’ll want to start by visiting the government page with the most up-to-date info on the documents you will need to apply for a Bahamas Travel Health Visa; the protocols vary depending on whether or not you are fully vaccinated. Face masks and social distancing are currently mandatory on Harbour Island while in public places. The Dunmore and Ocean View Club are both beautiful hotels, and Coral House is a perfect spot for groups and families (a 2,500 sf home with a private pool) owned by our friend Chassity of Look Linger Love…it can be booked on VRBO here! For dining, we love Da Vine for sushi; breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Dunmore (so charming and designed by our friend Amanda Lindroth!); don’t miss the pancakes at Sweet Spot Café; Dunmore Deli for beach sandwiches; the restaurants at the Pink Sands Resort (built in 1951 as the first resort on Harbour Island’s pink sand beach!); Sip Sip for lunch (if it reopens!); and Aquapazza for Italian and seafood. For late-night cocktails and dancing, head to Daddy D’s and Gusty’s (the sand floors are a fun touch!). Our favorite shopping spots are Shine, Blue Rooster, the Sugar Mill (owned by India Hicks, who also wrote a beautiful book about Harbour Island!), Dake’s Shoppe and Princess Street Gallery (featuring wonderful original works by Bahamian artists).

If you didn’t catch this week’s Current Crushes yet be sure to check those out here, as well as our latest striped finds, our color-happy picks and our sun and swim must-haves! Select J.Crew sale styles are an extra 50% off today with the code SHOPSALE, and at Ann Taylor you can save more when you buy more (25% off $100+, 30% off $175+, 40% off $250+). Today is the last day of Serena & Lily’s pillow and throw sale, and our P+P beaded clutches are on sale for $75 through 5/28!
