Mavec Collections
Madelaine Mavec is the founder and designer of Ohio-based Mavec Collections, and we are so inspired by the colorful world she’s created! From original artwork to cheerful, hand-painted accessories, Madelaine believes every area of life could use a little more color and pattern (sounds familiar, right?!). We’re especially smitten with her bold, outfit-boosting earrings…who knew leather is actually the perfect light-as-a-feather canvas for statement earrings! We couldn’t be more thrilled to feature an exclusive-to-P+P earring design in April’s Happy Mail box, just in time to brighten up your warm weather looks! Sam Sidney
New York born, Charleston-based artist Sam Sidney originally began her creative career as an illustrator, until pandemic boredom led her to discover a new medium: felt! During quarantine it was Sam’s goal to make an art project with her kids every day, and once a box of felt became a self portrait collage, Sam had found her new groove! Each artwork is designed from freehand cut pieces of felt that Sam assembles to form joyful depictions of celebrities, pets, food and drinks. We just adore her use of color and hints of humor! If you’ve been following P+P for a while, you probably know all about our love for Vans classic checkered sneakers…what a dream to have a print of Sam’s collage of our go-to shoes join our art collection! Sleepy Jones
We just can’t resist a pretty pair of pjs, especially when they’re the super soft kind from Sleepy Jones! Founded in 2013 by Andy Spade and inspired by the lifestyle of artists, Sleepy Jones creates luxuriously comfortable sleep and lounge wear for women and men that never compromises on chic! The designs have such a charming nod to vintage styles, and feature so many of our favorite patterns like classic stripes and Liberty florals! Just about anything on the Sleepy Jones site makes such a wonderful gift (attention Mother’s Day shoppers!), but we’re not shy about treating ourselves to a darling set! Papier
We always love to keep colorful stationery within reach, and Papier’s whimsical designs never fail to cheer up our desks! Their site is always home to fabulous collaborations, including the ever-inspiring Matilda Goad whose signature scallops are featured on a range of Papier products!
