Truffle

Truffle founders Sarah and Maria became besties at business school, and later continued to bond over the joyful chaos of motherhood. What they both craved was a bit of organization (even if only a sense of order in their handbags!) and from there the brand of streamlined, see-through accessories was born! Fun fact: the name Truffle comes from the feeling of biting into a delicious chocolate…the founders equate this deep satisfaction with that of reaching into their bags and knowing exactly what’s in there and where to find it! Vaughan Pursell Spanjer

We had the pleasure of meeting Sylacauga, Alabama based artist Vaughan Pursell Spanjer through P+P Creative Club, and we’ve just adored keeping up with her work on Instagram ever since! After graduating from Auburn University, Vaughan began her career in New York’s fast-paced fashion scene, later moving back to Alabama with her husband to settle at Pursell Farms (her family’s resort property where she’s also the resident artist!). We’re in love with Vaughan’s fresh take on traditional botanicals, charming portraits and whimsical, fashion-inspired motifs!
